Established in 2015 and proudly based in Yorkshire, Alpha Clothing is one of the UK’s fastest-growing personalised workwear retailers. Our journey began in 2015 when our two directors—and long-time friends—decided to combine their strengths and create something new. Stephen brought with him over 20 years of experience running a well-established uniforms company, with deep knowledge of the workwear industry, supply chains, and customer needs. Chris, meanwhile, had spent 15 years at the helm of a successful digital agency, specialising in online retail and e-commerce solutions. Together, they saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between traditional uniform supply and modern, user-friendly online service—and so, Alpha Clothing was born.
The vision was clear from the very start: every order counts and every customer matters. With a shared belief in quality craftsmanship, honest service, and attention to detail, they set out to build more than just a workwear retailer. Alpha Clothing is proudly based in Tadcaster, Yorkshire, operating from our state-of-the-art 60,000 sq ft production centre. This modern facility is equipped with the latest in print technology and a full suite of industry-leading Barudan embroidery machines—renowned for their precision, reliability, and professional finish. By carrying out all personalisation in-house, we maintain complete control over the process from start to finish. This means every garment is carefully checked by our team before it leaves our doors, ensuring your logo, branding, or custom design arrives exactly as you envisioned it—sharp, consistent, and built to last.
